This Sunday marked the end of the beginning, in a certain manner, as we said goodbye to several of our students who will be returning to colleges outside the Quad Cities this week. We had a total attendance today of 26. Because of the friends that we have leaving for school, that same group would be about 14. I know that the lack of a leader influenced alot of people to stop coming to "Avenue 4:12" over the last several months. It's time to let those people know that things are changing and that this ministry is going to be active again with new leadership, new vision, and new passion. For those of you who are going to still be around to see the action, be ready to do more than just watch. Also, expect to begin hearing details over the next several weeks about what is actually going to be happening to turn this ministry into a communtiy of singles that are living life with a passion for God! Those of you who are leaving us, when you come home next summer, we want you to be amazed at the impact that your church is having in your home town. Until then, goodbye for now, goodluck, and God bless...

John, I thought I would give you my blog account name, so here you go!
I've tried blogging several times and hopefully having a blog to check weekly will remind me to update mine as well so you can keep up with my personal and spiritual life as well.
Do you plan to put up any bits of your lessons and is the poll question related to it? Can't wait and I can tell I'm going to miss Sunday school already.
Thanks man! To answer your questions, first off, I will eventually have some section on here dedicated to putting up notes from each Sunday's discussion, so yes, that is in the works. As far as the poll questions, they will not necessarily be directly related to discussions on Sunday, although I may use it for that as well... basically it depends on my unpredictable mood! Do know that I'll miss you too, man. Promise to stay in touch and let me know when you're coming back to town. We'll do lunch!
John, I am excited to see what you have in store for the C&C class. I really think that you are the thing that we have been missing for some time now. I can tell that we are going to get along great and I can't wait to see what God is going to do through you and your wife being here. We are so blessed to have you apart of our lives. Thanks you for listening to God and following Him here to the QC!
Wow, Kati, thanks for sharing that with me. We are the blessed ones to have been lead to a group that is so eager and ready to jump on board with us and see this ministry grow. So thank you, and we'll do some great things together!
